“People have a hard time letting go of their suffering. Out of a fear of the unknown, they prefer suffering that is familiar.”
– Thich Nhat Hanh
On this episode of The Anxiety Project Podcast, I talk about the day I started my anxiety recovery journey. Leading up to that day, I was living a very sensitized and chaotic lifestyle. With no goals and living without a purpose, I was continually catastrophizing over the bodily sensations I was feeling daily. I kept spiralling down deeper into despair. When I found some answers online this day, a huge paradigm shift occurred. “Maybe I don’t have a physical illness, maybe it is all in my head,” I thought. The goal of this episode is so that you can relate your own experiences with anxiety to my own experiences with anxiety. When you find out that you are not alone, it can be a huge relief.
